SQL Server 2008 Can’t see .bak files in Restore or Backup folders

To solve this you need to grant permissions in the folders to the service account you used to run the SQL Server services

    Hi There, i don't understand, i'm having the same problem but with sql server 2012, i've never had this problem before, can you by any chance write instruction on how to set permissions? many thanks
